Firestick drill stem from Vermeer is designed for high torque horizontal directional drilling. Vermeer specific raw material standards ensure consistent wear and bending performance. Features include a one-piece, forged rod constructed of Vermeer specified high carbon alloy steel that is heat treated for uniform strength and consistent material hardness. Firestick threads are precision machined with 100% quality assurance to ensure proper triple engagement of the connection shoulder, pin and tapered thread. In addition, its coarse design delivers a faster makeup connection, smoother breakout, longer life and is standard on all Vermeer Navigator horizontal directional drills.
