As Vermeer Corporation has grown, so has the Vermeer Charitable Foundation (VCF). In 2023, VCF gave more than $1.1 million to a variety of organizations. Local focus continues to remain strong as VCF supports many civic, church and educational needs from the central Iowa area where we draw our valued Vermeer team members.
“As third generation Vermeer family members have joined the VCF Board of Directors, the goal remains the same – for VCF to come together with Vermeer Corporation in serving others,” said Tricia Vermeer, executive director of the VCF. “We also focus on educational institutions at all levels – preschools, elementary schools, high schools, technical colleges and universities.”
Change Course, Food Bank of Iowa, Pella Community Food Shelf, The Nature Conservancy in Iowa, Society of St. Vincent de Paul and south-central Iowa Christian and community school districts were the recipients of the larger awards funded by the VCF.
