In this position, Rourke is responsible for the overall leadership and strategic direction of Vermeer products and services for the agricultural market, including balers, bale processors, bale wrappers, mowers, rakes, tedders and vertical mixers. From the industry’s first wagon hoist to pioneering the round baler, Vermeer agricultural inventions have helped farmers get work done quickly and efficiently for 75 years.

Rourke graduated from Central College with degrees in business management and marketing. He obtained his master’s degree in business administration from Colorado State University and went on to receive multiple certificates from the Columbia School of Business the Kellogg School of Management. He joins Vermeer from Kreg Tool, where he served as the chief revenue officer for seven years. Before this role, Rourke worked for John Deere, Geico Information Network, Inc. and Quorum/Lainer, Inc.

Rourke takes over this position from Mindi Vanden Bosch, 3rd-generation Vermeer family member, as she transitioned to her new role as the vice president of operations earlier this year.
