D120E HDD CE Certified

Features & Benefits

High capability, low consumption

A fully electric 1.200 kN pull force, range 2 horizontal directional drill capable of converting power into meters of successful underground installations. Operates in a wide range of soil conditions with low energy consumption.

High-capability drill

With a maximum torque of 110 kNm, the D120E delivers the hole-making capability comparable to a larger maxi rig. The direct, electric drive results in reactiveness, controllability and scalability of the rig for highly efficient operations.

Extended drill pipe range

The powerful vise travels along the full length of the rack. With 220 kNm of breakout torque and 110 kNm of makeup torque, the vise makes it possible to use drill pipes up to 7,625-in outer diameter. Thanks to a large passthrough opening, the vise makes it possible to handle tooling and steel casing with an outer diameter up to 406 mm (16-in).

Power on demand

Piloting a 600-m long borehole in soft soil is different than reaming a 48-in borehole in rock. With direct electric drive, you use the power you need when you need it, no more, no less.

Different power sources

You can plug the drill to a genset or to a battery pack to help you perform.

Full control at your fingertips

The direct electric drive allows an accurate control over force, speed and position with precise data logging of operational parameters. An intuitive human machine interface (HMI) in combination with last-generation capacitative joysticks make the drilling experience digital.
