D130S HDD

Features & Benefits

Upgraded Plus+1 control system

For precision and reliability, the control system in the D130S has been upgraded to Plus+1 software. This drill also includes the AutoSteer system, which automates certain drill head motions, helping you to set and adjust rotation duration and direction while maintaining a preset thrust pressure to get through hard ground conditions, which enables drilling consistency. To top it off, the updated console design helps provide a seamless, user-friendly bore path adjustment experience for the operator.

Operator-controlled rod loader

The operator-controlled rod loader helps reduce the labor involved with manually loading and unloading drill rod and increases overall drilling efficiency. The stackable rod box (holding nine rods per rod box) also facilitates high productivity by enabling a full set of rods to be loaded into the machine with the push of a button.

Compact footprint and ease of transport

Machine maneuverability is key to navigating tight, narrow jobsites. With a length of 33.5 ft (10.2 m) and width of 8.2 ft (2.5 m), the self-contained, compact design of the D130S allows for convenient transportation, navigability and minimized set-up time.

High-powered rotational torque and thrust

Consisting of 130,000 lb (578,200 kN) of thrust and pullback and 15,000 ft-lb (20,337 Nm) of rotational torque, the D130S is able to penetrate through different and difficult terrains efficiently and effectively.

Climate-controlled cab and hassle-free machine upkeep

Maximize operational comfort with the climate-controlled cab. It provides the operator protection from various weather conditions, thus maximizing overall productivity. The updated engine hood industrial design of the D130S facilitates hassle-free machine maintenance, so the operator can quickly access various machine components to conduct maintenance checks.

Optional crane

Lesser support equipment is required onsite with the choice of a telescoping crane, thus freeing up more working space. This option can help improve jobsite productivity by aiding rod box load/unload and maneuvering large tooling on the rig side.

Optional front-mounted stakedown system

Cut down on setup time and the number of materials needed with our optional rotary auger-style stakedown.
