Over the years, the horizontal directional drill market and its requirements have continued to develop.

We’re excited to announce that the Vermeer D23x30 S3 and D23x30DR S3 horizontal directional drills now have a cab option available. This new feature is the latest in operator comfort, and it includes a fully-enclosed operator station with heat and air conditioning.

It also features:

  • Ear comfort at 62 dB(A)
  • Minimal vibration by isolating the cab from the rest of the machine
  • Vermeer standard limited warranty

Only 20 years ago, an enclosed operator station would be considered extraordinary, but now it has become a standard market expectation. We are pleased to be able to offer this as an option on our D23x30 S3 and D23x30DR S3 drills.

The D23x30DR S3 cab option is expected to be available in June 2021, and the D23x30 S3 cab option is expected to be available in August 2021.
