At Vermeer, we celebrate Manufacturing Day (MFG Day) – the first Friday in October – each year. MFG Day helps show the reality of what manufacturing looks like today - clean, safe and brightly lit workspaces filled with passionate and skilled people. Despite this, manufacturing jobs are often still thought of as dirty jobs that don’t pay well and we’re out to change that perception.
We know that a wide variety of skills and interests can directly tie to career opportunities in manufacturing and at Vermeer. We also know that many the opportunities at Vermeer can provide a career that helps the important work around the world get done.
